The judges for the Aftermath grant also named four finalists:
Annamaria Bruni of Italy for “Crying Game,” a critique of the impact of U.S. military bases in the Philippines in creating prostitution and sexual violence in surrounding communities.
The judges for the 2020 Aftermath Grant were Sara Terry; Laura Roumanos, United Photo Industries; Benjamin Petit, co-founder of Dysturb; Layla Amatullah Barrayn, photographer and co-founder of MFON; Teun van der Heijden, photo book designer; and Stephen Mayes, executive director of the Tim Hetherington Trust.
