What I bring from Zatari is such a strong emotion that didn't let me sleep for a whole night.
What I bring from Zatari is confusion, blinding sunshine, sand storms, joy, resignation, anger, ingenuity to survive.
It's a friend in less that I could not cry.
What I bring from Zatari is the heart of Syrians, lost in an endless war.
An estimated 3.7 million Syrian children 1 in 3 of all Syrian children has been born since the conflict began five years ago, their lives shaped by violence, fear and displacement, according to a UNICEF report. This figure includes more than 151,000 children born as refugees since 2011.
In total, UNICEF estimates that some 8.4 million children more than 80 per cent of Syrias child population are now affected by the conflict, either inside the country or as refugees in neighboring countries.
